An interviewee, an interviewee, my kingdom for an interviewee.

Who to talk to? The clock is ticking and my topic doesn't leave many doors open for any Tom, Dick or Harry really, but what's that on the horizon? A professor at Yale who's written a best-selling book entitled "Political Tribes"? That must surely be the one!? Alas, no, the wonderful Amy Chua (Who's interviews will be featured here) is on medical leave until 2019 so is quite rightfully unavailable for my lil' doc.

But in the great words of Batman's dad, why do we fall if not to learn how to pick ourselves back up? So, I got back on the hunt for an English speaking psychologist who specialises in tribalism, who is also suitable and available to be in my documentary, easy peasy squeeze the lemon right?

Lo and behold the wonderful Daniel Stalder from the University of Wisconsin became that man, and boy did he smash it. We spoke for around an hour very conversationally about tribalism and how it creeps into various aspects of our lives, politics included. It had been a while since I interviewed someone over the phone using the studio, so I was slightly apprehensive that I would somehow delete Bournemouth Uni's entire Burli collection by accident, but I got back into the swing of it pretty sharpish.

Happy with the recording and looking forward to starting the editing, so far this project has seemed to just be me sending emails and getting the same reply rate as a castaway does with messages in a bottle. ONWARDS!
